🙏 A Catholic Intercessory Prayer for All

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Heavenly Father, this prayer is for everyone who sees it — those whom I know and those whom I don't know. It is lifted up for the stranger and the friend, for the forgotten and the beloved, for the lost and the found.

Lord, I pray this prayer not because I think I am better than everyone else, but because I know I am not. We are all in need of Your mercy, Your healing, and Your grace. None of us can walk this life alone, and none of us is beyond the need for prayer.

So I come before You humbly, Lord — for the sick and the suffering, for those burdened by addiction and sin, for the broken families and the grieving hearts, for the lonely, the hopeless, and those who do not yet know You. I pray for the dying and for those who have no one to pray for them.

I ask, through the boundless love You have for each soul, that You pour out Your mercy upon all who read these words — seen and unseen, named and unnamed — for You know each one by name.

Most Blessed Mother Mary,
Refuge of sinners and Mother of all who call upon you, wrap us in your mantle of protection. Intercede for us before your Son, Jesus Christ, as only a mother can. Draw close all who are far from God, and lead us, one and all, more deeply into the Sacred Heart of your Son.
Our Lady, pray for us.

Glorious Saint Joseph,
Faithful protector and intercessor of all who love and venerate you, extend your powerful patronage over all who read this prayer. Be our father, our protector, and our guide in the way of salvation. Guard our families, guard our souls, and guard us against every evil that would lead us away from God.
Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Glorious Saint Michael the Archangel,
Defender of heaven and protector of God's people, stand between us and the powers of darkness. Guard our minds from doubt and despair, our hearts from hatred and pride, and our souls from the snares of the enemy. Be our shield in battle and our strength in weakness.
Saint Michael, pray for us.

Lord Jesus Christ, hear this prayer offered not in pride, but in love. Not in self-righteousness, but in the recognition that we are all broken people in need of a merciful God. May every soul this prayer reaches feel Your presence, know Your love, and be drawn one step closer to You today.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Lady of Grace — pray for us.
Saint Joseph, Protector of the Church — pray for us.
Saint Michael the Archangel — pray for us.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. ✝️

THE ERROR OF ARIUS ABOUT THE INCARNATION

In their eagerness to proclaim the unity of God and man in Christ, some heretics went to the opposite extreme and taught that not only was there one person, but also a single nature, in God and man. This error took its rise from Arius. To defend his position that those scriptural passages where Christ is represented as being inferior to the Father, must refer to the Son of God Himself, regarded in His assuming nature, Arius taught that in Christ there is no other soul than the Word of God who, he maintained, took the place of the soul in Christ’s body. Thus when Christ says, in John 14:28, “The Father is greater than I,” or when He is introduced as praying or as being sad, such matters are to be referred to the very nature of the Son of God. If this were so, the union of God’s Son with man would be effected not only in the person, but also in the nature. For, as we know, the unity of human nature arises from the union of soul and body.

RESTORATION OF MAN BY GOD THROUGH THE INCARNATION

We indicated above that the reparation of human nature could not be effected either by Adam or by any other purely human being. For no individual man ever occupied a position of pre-eminence over the whole of nature; nor can any mere man be the cause of grace. The same reasoning shows that not even an angel could be the author of man’s restoration. An angel cannot be the cause of grace, just as he cannot be man’s recompense with regard to the ultimate perfection of beatitude, to which man was to be recalled. In this matter of beatitude angels and men are on a footing of equality. Nothing remains, therefore, but that such restoration could be effected by God alone.

But if God had decided to restore man solely by an act of His will and power, the order of divine justice would not have been observed. justice demands satisfaction for sin. But God cannot render satisfaction, just as He cannot merit. Such a service pertains to one who ...

Hey @Matt_Fradd! First off, thanks for all that you do. Your content has legitimately helped me deepen my faith in addition to providing me with hours of quality entertainment.

I’m both a Locals annual supporter and an All Access member of DW. Just curious, how has your reach & viewership changed since joining the Daily Wire?

I appreciate the increased production value as well as the additional content like Last Call.

That said, I’d personally watch you anywhere I could, but I have to imagine that you’ve been able to expand your audience quite a bit since joining DW. Any details you’d be willing to share?

Aquinas and Corpus Christi: Theologian, Poet, and Mystic

St. Thomas Aquinas didn't just write about the Eucharist — he was commissioned to shape how the whole Church would worship the Body of Christ.

The Commission

Pope Urban IV asked St. Thomas Aquinas — who was accompanying the pope at the time and was in Orvieto — to compose the texts of the Liturgical Office for the great feast of Corpus Christi. These texts are masterpieces still in use in the Church today, in which theology and poetry are fused — expressing praise and gratitude to the Most Holy Sacrament while the mind, penetrating the mystery with wonder, recognizes in the Eucharist the Living and Real Presence of Jesus.

The Hymns

Sometime between 1259 and 1264, Thomas composed the words to the Pange Lingua and the Verbum Supernum — the last two verses of each being the Tantum Ergo and the O Salutaris respectively.

He also wrote the antiphon O Sacrum Convivium for the Office of Corpus Christi, which serves as a wonderful summary ...

Since Joining The Daily Wire...

Since joining The Daily Wire, we’ve started streaming the show on Spotify, and somehow we’re now in the top 7 under Religion & Spirituality.

Take that, other religions and spiritualities!

Seriously though, thank you to everyone who watches here on Locals, Youtube, or Spotify.

Christ is King. Glorify Him.

PS: I know the Internet keeps saying that the Daily Wire is a sinking ship but I disagree :) But even if PWA will sink, it will sink proclaiming the goodness of God and Holy Mother Church.

Thanks for helping me do that.

Hello dear Locals member!

I want to thank you again for your support. And I'm not talking about your hard earned money (though I'm grateful for that!). I'm thankful for you for trusting me during this transition. "What an absolute delight. I hope that everyone who was throwing shade and casting judgement on the new PWA/DW relationship takes a deep listen to this first post-collaboration episode. Seriously! I feel that having Hahn on speaks volumes to the integrity of PWA and the respect DW has for that integrity." - @arealdonut

Okay ... with that out of the way, I'm happy to annoucne that:

It's finally here! Jesus Our Refuge 🙌

It’s finally here!

I’ve been pouring my heart into what I truly believe is an important book—Jesus Our Refuge (get here). It’s the most personal thing I’ve ever written, and my hope is that it helps you find peace and refuge in the heart of Jesus.

Please consider getting a copy here and reviewing!

P.S. I don’t earn anything from this book. When I wrote it, I knew it had to reach far and wide, so I partnered with a publisher who believes in that mission. Every bit of the royalties I’d have received goes into a fund to give away one million copies for free.
